My 6plus started about 11/2 months ago. Read the CBC news article and the comments and learned to give the phone a little twist by the volume buttons. I was at the Apple Store today they wanted $429 to replace it, told them where to go I could buy new for a few dollars more. If I had paid for Apple care I would still have had to pay, my 2 years would have been over anyway. I have been very loyal to the IPhone since they came to Canada. Maybe I’ll join one of the lawsuits. Just fess up Apple like Samsung did, nobody is perfect.

Yes, I have this problem here in the UK. Apple won;t admit anything. They know the problem exists, but won;t say that in public or to a consumer. My only path to justice is to use the UK Consumer Law and pitch this case in front of a judge. Apple will have to provide the discovery evidence of other complaints registered, which should be interesting. My feelings towards Apple are very annoyed. I have many Apple products, but this problem is so obvious. It won’t just go away. £800 for a Brick is unacceptable
